Next up is the second round of voting, which will determine the Best Overall fanfiction of the year awards. As you might guess from the winners list, the stories on the ballot for the Best Overall round will be:

"Witchy Woman" by Vathara
"Oak Evolution" by Dejana Talis
"When I Was A Child" by Sarah P

Voting for the second round will begin October 1st.

Remember, nominations for the 2007 UFOs are open and fandom categories need at least three entries to be voted on, so get your favorite stories in there! Also watch those WIPs - once a WIP nominee is complete, it can be nominated again for the regular fandom categories. Smiley

Thanks again to everyone who participated in the UFOs. You guys rock. Grin

I'll see you all again when the second round kicks off! ^^

I still feel like a heel about it. I almost withdrew myself when I saw how the numbers were falling, in fact, but I decided that wouldn't be fair.

*conflicted!* Undecided

If anyone wants to see all the fancy badges I made, I stuck them all on a "display case" page:

I know. I feel bad. Sad

It'll clean both our clocks in 2007, though, so Chaos will have his revenge. Wink

You will finish The Brooch!  Next year!  Because I will hassle you into submission!  As your beta I demand a chapter a month!

Even if I manage a chapter a month, there aren't enough months in a year for me to complete that story in time for the next UFOs. *sighs*

There is always 2009.

That might be stretching it quite a bit. Besides, I'm not even sure that would be enough. I've got a lot planned, you know.

Like I said, 2009.  Shoot for the 2009 UFOs...based on my guess on where the story currently is, that may still be one to two chapters a month.

I just really love this story.  So long as you finish it, I don't care and I will beta it until it is done!
