My name is Starsea, although my friends sometimes call me Xing. I live in England and I'm in my mid 20s. I'm into a few fandoms but I only write for Sailor Moon and Harry Potter (with the exception of one Fruitsbasket fanfiction). I am a grammar queen and will be happy to offer constructive criticism and grammar advice to anyone, but remember that I use British English and therefore my system may differ slightly from yours. ;) If you have any issues (or grammar vents), look for the Grammar Workshop thread in the Writer's Block forum. :)

Heavenly Pearl - Story Moderator

My pen name is Heavenly Pearl, but most people just call me Yumeko. I've been writing fanfiction since 2002, with about twenty-four stories so far under my belt. Most of them are for my main fandom, Sailor Moon, but I've recently branched out into the Someday's Dreamers, Card Captor Sakura, Fruits Basket, and Fire Emblem fandoms. I also love editing for my fellow fanfic authors.

You could say I have a slight obsession with Helios from Sailor Moon. ... Okay, make that a slightly insane obsession. ^_^ I also have a thing for Kinomoto Touya from Card Captor Sakura, Shigure, Kyo, and Hatori from Fruits Basket, Tooya from Ayashi no Ceres, Sasame from Pretear... The list goes on and on. *laughs* What can I say? I'm a hard-core bishie lover.

Favorite anime of mine include: Kaleido Star, Fruits Basket, Princess Nine, Pretear, Card Captor Sakura, Sailor Moon, Someday's Dreamers and Fushigi Yugi. Manga-wise, I'm a total Watase Yuu fangirl, but I also really enjoy Fruits Basket, Chobits, and Someday's Dreamers.

As for my life outside of fandom, my boyfriend has recently turned me into a bit of a gamer. I'm also quite the TV nut, music lover, and soap opera addict.

Nephthys Moon - Story Moderator

My penname is Nephthys Moon, but most people just call me Kasey. I write for several fandoms, most notably Harry Potter, where I have more stories than I can shake a stick at, including four (heaven help me) WIPs. I have written one Harry Potter/Sailormoon crossover, and two Sailormoon one-shots. In addition to that, I've recently added one Avatar: The Last Airbender story. I have a couple of projects that I'm working on in Sailormoon, Ouran High School Host Club and Avatar: The Last Airbender, but nothing to show for it yet. A lot of my spare time goes into writing fanfiction, creating icons and banners, and making AMVs. I'm also interested in several fandoms that I've yet to attempt anything for, the most noteable being Platinum Garden.

As a dear friend once said, I'm good at tragedy. I think what she meant was that I'm bad at fluff. No matter the fandom, I do lean towards darker, more tragic stories. I have been known, on occasion, to write a light-hearted romance, but I do not vouch for the readability of these forays into the fluffy. I will typically find one character in any fandom that I absolutely adore and write stories that center on this person. I'm fond of rarer pairings, and it's unusual for me to ship canon.

For life beyond the fandom - and yes, even with all these WIPs, I DO still have a real life, too - I'm an Accounts Payables Specialist for a geotechnical engineering firm, a wife and mother of one. I'm also an avid watcher of the Fox series Bones, and you can find me on AIM on Wednesday nights at 8 EST, drooling over Seeley Booth.
