Disclaimer: if Sailormoon did belong to me, then me wouldn't be here mentioning about "disclaimer" already. ^o^ As promised, here I presented to all of you Cinderella Style: Chapter 3. -- Chapter 3 -- The royal visit was fast approaching, and soon enough the day finally came, once the preparations had all been settled. The Terran Royal Family was waiting at the portal ready to welcome their future in-laws along with the four royal generals. Each representative showed different emotions: such as the elders were excited about their reunion, whereas the younger ones were looking forward to meet the legendary princess and her ladies-in-waiting. Upon the arrival of the Lunarian Royals, a loud crash rose from that promise place as those assembling for the scheduled reunion finally came into view. The mothers of the prince and the princess, as was expected, gave one another a big hug before doing the introductions, and that was how the two descendants to the thrones of their respective kingdoms came to meet one another. In a typical fairy tale, the story begins with a royal couple either experiencing love at first sight or hate at first sight. However, this was not a typical story, nor was it a fairy tale, so none of that came into play. They, instead, felt a strong yet unfamiliar feeling when their eyes made contact, as if they had met before, and strangely enough this was their first encounter. The staring contest would have continued if it was not for a nudge from the prince's mother. Only then did the prince snapped back to reality, before bowing to the princess. He escorted her to the garden with his generals following his lead. One by one, the group dispersed from within security room. As it turned out, the royal couple remained silent throughout the walk. The bizarre feeling that they had met previously, although neither had shown any sign, did not die away, which remarkably haunted the duo still. If they were conscious enough, they would have realized this meeting officially speaking was their first, but in actuality, their first meeting had been a fortnight and two days ago... Even the elder royals had enough of the maddening silence that swirled around the young couple at the dining table. That was not part of the plan they had had in mind for the children of the two kingdoms, both considered not the type to sit around wordless and modest. If Plan A, which was to encourage romance to bloom in the romantic garden did not work, then it was time to proceed to Plan B, a lovey-dovey conversation between the least of romantic couple. "How was the garden?" the Earth Queen moved her first pawn. "It was great. I had never seen such beauty before." the queen was pleased by the answer given but was disappointed at the same time because the person who took the bait was the Venusian Princess, instead of the big fish, her daughter-in-law-to-be. "What a wonderful day today, is it not?" the next attempt by King Solaris followed, this prompted by his wife who had shot him a stern glance. The elder royal of the Earth had come to conclusion that they wanted no one to be their future daughter in-law, except for the one and only heir to the Moon Kingdom. "Indeed your majesty," again, it was not the intended who answered, but General Jadeite. Like before, but this time, puppy-dog eyes turned to the last of their group to make a final attempt, The Moon Queen, also known as the mother of the big fish. "Your majesties," a voice spoke up. On the outside, the adults were cool, calm and collected, but when the Moon Princess finally chose to speak, a victory and a resounding sense of, ‘Yes!’… But this was short lived, for this fragile hope was to collapse replaced by two thuds of disappointment as she ended with a "May I be excused?" -- End of Chapter 3 -- Cdgal: Did you have fun reading it?
