This resulted from browsing through a bunch of Older!Toph art and being annoyed that most of them either had her tall, delicate, or both. In the former, at age twelve if she's that short it's unlikely she'll end up being tall. And in the latter case... She's an earthbender. She's going to be buff. And with people saying they didn't want to draw her that way because it's unattractive... This is my counter.
