Summary:

Can the hero of the Wizarding World slay the "dragon" that hunts his little girl and haunts his nightmares? Or will it drag him into it's lair?

A small warning, this story terrified me (and my beta) and made me cry. Read it with caution but please read it.

Author's Comments:

Nothing from the Harry Potter World in this story is mine, they belong to the very talented JK Rowling who has allowed us to play around with her imagination. Catherine on the other hand, is all mine. Thank you to No_day_but_today for reading the original version of this story and all her work she did. Thank you to VV for suggesting Gmarian to read the new version and for her work in getting it all nice and pretty. The little girl in the story is 100% my own little angel, all the way down to a funny little birthmark on her left arm and the endearment we use with each other. I cannot believe I wrote something like this (I hate horror movies) but it just popped into my head and clawed its way out. Please leave a review or a comment after you have read it. ~Kristy
