I screwed up the canon a little bit for this fic, so in order to try and pass it off like I did it on purpose, I say it's an AR. Shh, don't tell!

Great explanation of why Neville was down in the Common Room in PS/SS.

I've always felt sorry for Neville. I feel, as Neville feels in this piece, that everyone feels sorry for Harry because he lost his parents but people forget that Neville is also without true parents. I think Neville is even more pitiful than Harry since at least Harry can imagine what his parents are like. They will always be heroes in his mind. They will always be perfect.
