I'm writing this as someone who hasn't seen the series, so I guess my comments would be more on the technical side than anything else. From what I can gather, I think the story accomplishes what you want it to - providing a picture of what happens to all the characters once the series ends. It has a feel of all solution, without seeing any of the conflict... but like I said, that could be because I'm not familiar with the series and don't know what they were doing to get to where they are. If that was the point of the story, I think you did well. ^_^
