This is beautiful!!! It's a story that has needed to be written since Fruits Basket was first released, and Momiji was first introduced. You did so marvelously. It was very sweet and made me all fuzzy inside. XD

Really a lovely piece - I love the Momoji/Momo relationship and the potential for healing it has for Momoji. I like how you paint Momo in this, especially the use of their German heritage.

Thanks, aishuu. Fraternal relationships are very important in FB and I do think that Momiji's relationship with Momo has healing potential. I don't speak German, so I'm glad that it rang true.

I just love this. One of my favorite scenes in both the anime and manga is that one of Momiji's. Still brings me to tears every time I watch the anime. It would be nice if something like this story happens in the canon.

I think it's terribly well-written. I caught myself tearing up a little.... Like you, the episode where Momiji tells Tohru about his mother was the first one that made me cry. His attachment to Momo was so clear in that episode.... I'm glad that the two of them had their chance to know each other here, and I can definitely see Momiji maturing into the caring, protective kind of older brother that you've portrayed.

It is such a moving, emotional episode. Up until then, Momiji seemed this happy-go-lucky boy and then you found out what was behind that smile... it was heartwrenching. I think he would definitely try and be a good big brother to Momo, even from afar.
