I really, really love this. It's so evocative and does justice to the many facets of Mercury. And the attraction-repulsion between them is really well portrayed and handled . ok, and now that I've kept the inner fangirl in check... Yay, the love!
Author's response: Thanks! People do tend to make Princess Mercury a carbon copy of Ami and I don't think she was. She grew up with a sense of her self and her own place in the world and that would definitely make her more confident. I really tried to show how Zoisite wanted her and yet was scared of her, so I'm glad that came through.
