Summary:

For some children, Hogwarts is not a surprise. For them, it is a goal, something to be dreamed about and wished for. Ron Weasley was one of these children, and he couldn't wait to get to Hogwarts and move out of his brothers' shadows. But he soon realised that being Ron Weasley wasn't so bad after all.

I wrote this in about three days. I love Ron and I don't think I've ever seen a story about this time from his point of view. Comments appreciated. ^_^

I'm hoping to get the entire review written, but I might have to come back and do it again.

I wanted to applaud your characterisation of Ron Weasley in this story. It's utterly spot-on and shows a clear devotion to the fandom. Your vision of the relationship between Ron and Ginny coincides with my own feelings on the siblings, and it truly is done exceptionally well.

"Death! Doom! Destruction!"

I love that foreshadowing. Ron has no idea what's in store for him over the next few years but apparently, the ghoul knows.

I loved taking a peak inside Ron's mind. In the books, Harry is the POV character, so we see everything how he sees it. It was interesting to see the beginning of this epic story from someone else's point of view.
