Author's Comments:

Submitted originally at ASMR with a 2 year+ lag between chapters 7 & 8. A sequel is in the works, tentatively titled "moving [memories] forward".

And don't worry - the style really is confusing at first.

Scratch that: it's confusing the whole way through.
